New Ways To Practice Self Care

At times we look for happiness elsewhere. Whether that’s from jobs, other people, or outside forces when in fact happiness should be found from within – that is the essence of self care. In addition to dedicating down time for ourselves and working on our mental health, we’ve also been seeking out other ways to nurture our body. We just read an article on feminine care and realized how little we actually know about vulva health and how to take manage it. There can be so many skin concerns like dryness, dullness, blemishes and folliculitis. Although, it is a different story for the vagina as it has self-cleaning power – let her do her thing.

It is really important that feminine care receives the same attention and discussion as does skincare for the rest of the body. That’s why we love TWO L(I)PS because they not only address these concerns but also strive to educate women on the importance of feminine care with their award-winning products (happy 1st year anniversary by the way!).

All their products are super gentle and dermatologically tested. Our favorites are Pout and Bumpps, both of which can be used on every part of the body from head to toe. Pout is a Hyaluronic Acid based serum that is super hydrating for dry skin throughout the body. The Hyaluronic Acid used is in a low molecular weight, ensuring maximum absorption for the skin. Bumpps helps with skin irritation and reducing bumps that can be caused by inflamed hair follicles after shaving. Additionally, it can be used as a sebum-control serum on the face. It is a first for us to try out the Blackout Activated Charcoal Vulva Mask, which we find quite unique and rejuvenating. It helps with soothing and detoxifying the skin, like celery juice…but for your vulva.
