Every New York Fashion Week, I always look forward to the Self-Portrait show. I’ve been friends with Han, the Creative Director, for years now and love supporting his beautiful vision.

This season was a very memorable one because EVERYONE kept the secret from me that my sister was attending the show as well. I was so surprised to see Dani seated at my spot, I shed lots of happy tears!

We both showed up in coordinated Self-Portrait outfits! We looked so complimentary that it reminded me of our earlier years in the industry where we both attended shows in similar outfits. We loved these metallic knitwear pieces that are lightweight sweaters — perfect for the current transitional weather.

Speaking of transitional weather, it’s about time we start wearing boots (with some leg) again! I couldn’t wait to wear these show-stopping Chanel Metiers D’Art 18/19 metallic high boots. It’s amazing how the perfect pair can instantly transform any outfit.
