It’s the first day of New York Fashion Week and I can’t help but be nostalgic and look back at how it has changed over the years. From my fashion mishaps to exploring new ways to style pieces and wearing some of my most favorite designers – I’ve come a long way!
Here’s a decade of New York Fashion Week as told by my outfits:
In the most recent New York Fashion Week, retro-chic was all the rage. I found myself going for wide-legged pants, mustard tones, and power suits!
During this year, I was all about pops of pink and red! I was bold and sported bright pink on my lids and lips. The third look with the Monse dress and red cowboy boots is probably one of my favorite NYFW looks ever (watch what happed that day here!).
My 2017 looks were very edgy and brought a lot of attitude. Chunky boots and leather pants were my staples that winter. (Full outfit details here!)
NYFW in 2016 was game-changing! Along with other influencers, I sported statement tees by Prabal Gurung that brought awareness to female empowerment and the current political climate.
During this year, I started to wear more blazers and tailored pieces. The fashion industry had shifted a lot this year and became more accepting of bloggers – now referred to as influencers.
In 2014, I toned down the colors and opted for lots of leather and gray tones. Layering was key to my fashion week looks!
I loved attending fashion week with my sister. We would always plan our outfits and coordinate!
2012 was the age of neon! I enjoyed playing around different color combinations…and look at my long hair!
I get mixed feelings whenever I look back at these photos haha! My style has truly evolved throughout the years and it has been such an incredible journey. I am so thankful to be here again and continue to do what I love this fall.
