How To Make a Layered Outfit Fashion

Aritzia Camel Coat (similar here, under $100 here) / Aritzia Camel-Colored Turtleneck (sold out, but similar here) / Aritzia Mustard-Colored Corduroy Pants (similar here) / H&M Brown Leather Belt / Gold Hoop Earrings / Point-Toe Booties From Italy (50% off Calvin Klein version here, and 50% off Stuart Weitzman version here)

I’ve really been into this fall weather that we’ve been having in L.A. this year! The rain has been a great excuse to curl up, read, and take a much needed break. Plus, I love wearing fall clothes and really bundling up. Lately, I’ve been wearing monochromatic looks, because I think pairing together items of the same color really add a level of sophistication to layered outfits. Even when it’s cold outside, you can still feel on trend with just a few style tricks. Here’s how I make a layered look fashion:

Here, I’m wearing a camel coat from Aritzia (similar here, under $100 here). Camel coats are my go-to for fall and winter. I’m sure you’ve seen me wearing them a ton lately! Under my coat, I layered a camel-colored turtleneck from Aritzia (sold out, but similar here) and mustard-colored corduroy pants (similar here). I love the fit and feel of these pants, and the wide leg is super in style right now. When putting together a monochromatic look, it’s important to think about adding dimension with different silhouettes, textures, and fabrics.

In order to pull together a look that has a lot of layers, it’s also essential to have a strong accessory game. Here, I’m wearing a brown leather belt from H&M and a pair of gold hoop earrings. The belt helps to define my waist under all of the layers, and a great pair of earrings always makes me feel elevated put together. Here, I also wore a pair of point-toe booties from Italy (50% off Calvin Klein version here, and 50% off Stuart Weitzman version here). I love how the boots totally pull the whole monochromatic look together, and add a little bit of an edge.
