I had an amazing time at Paris Fashion Week SS19. There were so many beautiful designer collections, great food moments, and I even got to walk in a show! I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite wardrobe items from Paris Fashion Week. Many of the items are perfect investment pieces for the fall and winter. Some of the pieces represent some of the biggest trends of this past season, and some are classic wardrobe items that never go out of style.
1. Monochromatic Blue Looks: I wore a monochromatic blue look to Margiela, and another monochromatic blue look to Jacquemus. Blue is one of my favorite colors, and I think it’s a very flattering option for every skin tone. Plus, I love how the monochromatic style makes a fashion-forward statement. I love this asymmetrical blue skirt from Jacquemus (similar here, affordable here), and this blue blazer from Margiela (under $50 here).
2. Gold Eye Makeup
I wore a bold gold eye look to the Chloe show. I loved this gold eyeshadow, because it created a more dramatic eye look than what I usually wear, but it still looked beautiful and sophisticated. Gold is such a gorgeous tone that highlights your eyes, and can be worn with almost any outfit. Here, I wore Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill in Stardust.
3. Leopard Print
Leopard print is one of the biggest trends for fall and winter. I love this trend in particular because it’s such a great throwback that never goes out of style. I love this Miaou leopard jacket (affordable here and here) and matching Miaou leopard pants (similar here, skirt option here) because they remind me of the early 2000s.
Snakeskin is huge right now, and will definitely be a trend all throughout the fall and winter. I wore head-to-toe snakeskin to the Loewe show, and it was one of my favorite looks. What I love about snakeskin is that it goes with so many different wardrobe pieces. It’s a neutral, but still a print. Here, I wore Zimmermann snakeskin cowboy boots (similar here and here).
5. Cowboy Boots
I wore cowboy boots all through New York Fashion Week, and I wore some during Paris Fashion Week, too. The cowboy boot trend is huge right now, and I am all for it. There is no better way to be totally comfortable yet totally chic. I particularly love the tan Lamsy boot by Isabel Marant (similar here).
