Get the Look: Clare Waight Keller’s Apartment

I’ve long admired interior design and architecture. So, I wanted to share one of my favorite interiors. After all, that’s how I first started this blog.Aimee Song, fashion blogger of Song of Style, talks about Clare Waight Keller's Parisian apartment and the interior details she loves.Clare Waight Keller is currently the artistic director of Givenchy and previously was artistic director of Chloé. She is known for designing Meghan Markle’s wedding dress too. But her apartment is what I want to talk about because I have long admired her decorating taste. Below are three key things you need for a chic, Parisian home.

But what is most inviting is all the chairs and couches to sit. From the dining room bank chairs circa 1930 (similar here, herehere, affordable version here, and more modern chairs here) to the ivory sofa (similar herehere, and here) swathed in a patterned blanket (similar here, here, here, and here), the apartment almost begs you to sit and stay awhile.

She has a large map of New York (more maps here and similar here, herehere, and a more modern version here), which is a city she previously lived in, and a photograph of painting palette tests when she worked with Jenny Saville on creating a scarf. She seems to carry her identity into her home which I admire. I especially love the textures Clare used when decorating her apartment like shearling textiles (similar here, here, and affordable here) and bone inlay accents (similar here, here, here, and affordable accents here and here). The fur give a sense of warmth and comfort while the bone inlay has a worldly, oriental appeal.

Simply put, this apartment is sophisticated and reflects the woman and her family that lives there. Check out all the items I love below!
