Altuzarra had their second show in Paris. Joseph Altuzarra’s inspiration of New York as a child really hit the nail on the head with the pinstripe coordinating suits and fitted vests. I especially like the strong attention to detail on his shoes. I swear anytime I go to an Altuzarra show, I want all the shoes and this collection featured lots of metal details by way of studs and metallic leather. I’m so fortunate I got to see this New York vision come to life. For the Altuzarra show I wore this coordinating Céline blazer (similar here) and Céline pants (similar here). I was in a rush that morning so putting together a suit with a plain white tee under. For my shoes I wore a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers (similar here and affordable here). Dad sneakers are so in right now (shopping guide here) and to be honest, they’re so comfortable. I then wore a pair of Céline sunglasses (similar here and here) because it was finally sunny outside (did I bring the California sunshine with me?) but really because this was the worse my face looked due to the allergic reaction I’ve been having. I didn’t even feel like putting on eye makeup and felt insecure so I last minute had Sophia grab me a pair of giant Celine sunglasses and I never took them off. It’s funny how, a simple piece of accessory like a pair of sunnies really help you feel more of yourself, like it’s a shield. I was feeling so insecure but with the sunnies on, I felt much better. P.S. how cool is this Louis Vuitton square bag with a chain? It’s definitely going to be the new ‘it’ bag and thankfully it fits, a camera, an avocado, my wallet, giant phone, and more.
