Amangiri is a desert oasis in the middle of Utah that I just traveled to with my Revolve family. I first heard of it about four years ago, but when I vacation I usually think of a tropical vacay, not one in America. I was reminded of it when I saw Rosie Huntington-Whitley vacation here for New Years so when Revolve approached me to join their trip, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity (I mean who would?).Day 1 I got to hang out at the spa for a little and relax (which I needed post-Paris Fashion Week). After that, I got to go to a dinner with all the Revolve girls. I wore this Majorelle Mistwood low cut dress with Raye Translucent PVC Sandals. I thought it was a good choice for dinner and looked cool with my Poppy Lissiman cat eye sunglasses.Hiking was on the agenda for Day 2. This was a quick hour-long hike in Slot Canyon, which is considered different from Antelope Canyon. I wore a Lovers + Friends beige hoodie with GRLFRND Helena Straight Step Hem Jeans. Of course, I needed comfortable shoes because after we would be walking to Horseshoe bend for a scenic sunset view. I wore my Louis Vuitton Sneakers for cool girl vibes without sacrificing comfort. On Day 3 I was worn out so I had a lazy morning (Yes, I enjoy lazy mornings and sleep!). It was also Dani, my sister’s birthday, so we had breakfast together and chilled. After that, we took off ATV riding. I opted to wear a pair of GRLFRND black distressed denim jeans paired with a Nanushka Button Down Shirt and layered with GRLFRND cara cropped white denim jacket. I needed to wear closed toe shoes to be safe and decided to look edgy with Aska Mason Boots.Later in the day, I dressed in this Privacy Please gingham mini dress with my GRLFRND Cara Cropped White Denim Jacket.By Day 4 I just chilled by the pool in my Lovewave rust one piece swimsuit and relaxed while answering emails. This day in particular I wanted to take it easy and rest up or have some R&R so to speak. So I just soaked up the sun and hung out with my sister and Jacopo. Then I dressed up later in the day with a Majorelle Nikita Dress in citrus (similar here and here).Day 5 was the last day and kept it casual in Lovers + Friends Sedge wide leg pants and a Lovers + Friends navy twist sweater. It actually rained so I took the time to explore the back of the spa of the hotel. This was where I discovered a sea salt pool that mimics the dead sea. Just half an hour in it was a total of 2 hours of REM sleep. I thought it was crazy so I tried it (I also burned a couple scratches on my back in the process… ouch!), and was sooooo relaxed before my flight. So was it worth the price tag? Absolutely and I can understand why people pay top dollar to be here. The resort is a place to disconnect. It is located in the middle of nowhere and you need two flights to get there. Once you get there, besides the wifi, there is no cell service. It is perfect for a much-needed vacation, or even for work. They give you more than enough space and the hotel itself is incredibly clean. The aesthetic is modern and sleek but beautiful. It was minimalistic but done in a warm way with inviting textures and neutral tones.Architecture is one of my favorite places because it is the perfect balance of luxurious vibes surrounded by Mother Nature (there is literally a boulder next to the pool!).Most rooms have desert views and I would get room service in the morning to just sit and look out my window while munching on avocado toast. They keep dietary restrictions in mind for guests so there is ample food for everyone.
