Shopping Guide Song of Style

Turtlenecks are making a comeback! I’ve always loved wearing them, but recently I’ve seen so many brands coming out with different versions of the classic turtleneck. Making it super fun and easy to mix and match them. Lately I’ve been matching my turtlenecks to my chunky sweaters, creating a monochromatic look. I wore an all grey look in LA and an all burgundy look in NY (both of them are below!). The key to layering them is making sure the turtleneck underneath is more fitted so that you still have some shape. I recently uploaded a Style by Numbers video on How to Style a Turtleneck 16 Ways if you haven’t seen it go check it out!Chunky turtlenecks are obviously really great for cold weather, but when you’re traveling to extremely freezing places these chunky ones keep you from freezing your butt off! Here are some of my favorite chunky turtlenecks to keep you warm.
1. Caroline Constas
2. Everlane
3. Topshop ($75) (Similar version here)
4. House of Harlow 1960

Taking it back to the basics with these classic turtlenecks. Love to layer these, but also love them on their own for a minimal look!

2. Theory ($25 version here)
3. Something Navy x Nordstrom
4. Tularosa
5. Autumn Cashmere

I wore the Tibi velvet turtleneck in pink during NYFW to add a pop of color to my look. If you want to try something more fun and bold like I did you’ll love the ones below. Style them down with denim to grab lunch or with a pair of patent leather pants for date night!
1. Fleur Du Mal

  1. hi, been following you for a while
I love everything about you, such such a big sister for young girls!!!
I just want to say that I really do enjoy all the blog posts but there is one thing I found can be improved. I dont know whether I am the only one recognized this. When you link suggesting items for us, you have it in pink right? I can not see the words bc it’s too bright. I dont know, sometimes I try to allocate where the words are to click :))) hope you know this.
And, thank you, for your youtube videos, I truly love those!!!

  2. It’s a perfect juxtaposition of girly and edgy. It reminds me of something Bella Hadid would wear and it suits you so well.

  3. I love turtleneck as well. It’s been a pleasure wearing turtle neck sweater for the past three weeks here because of the weather (harmattan).

  4. All of these look so good! I’ve never been a fan of turtlenecks…but now I just might have to give them another try :) Thanks for sharing!
