1. Elsa’s Wholesome Life – I recently discovered this lifestyle book during my trip to Antwerp & Mauritius through the author’s twin sister Lauren, and can’t seem to put it down! The book could not have come across me at a more fitting time, because as you guys know I’ve been trying to lead a healthier lifestyle and cooking has been a large component of that process. The book is just as dreamy as Ellie’s Instagram serving up 100+ delicious recipes as well as some lifestyle tips and pictures of her past travels. Pre-orders are taking place now, check out the book here! Also another vegan cookbook I’m coveting is the But I Could Never Go Vegan book by Kristy Turner.
2.Red & Burgundy Sweaters – This fall season (if it wasn’t already obvious enough) I’ve been obsessed with red and burgundy sweaters. With so many amazing options like the Madewell sweater (super similar here) l wore in New York to the Chloe piece I wore for Jacopo’s birthday, my closet has officially become a red and burgundy heaven. In fact, I am wearing a Lou & Grey red sweater right now as I am writing this. For affordable options under $45, check here, here and here.
3. Camel Coats – If you’re going to invest in one coat, I highly suggest it to be a camel-colored coat. I’ll never forget the first one I bought, it was two-toned and from Zara, I wore that coat until it literally fell apart. Camel coats have become a go-to piece for me during the Fall season, they go with everything, are easy to throw on, and are universally timeless. My mom still has hers that she bought in the 90’s from Max Mara! My current favorite is by Nanushka, I’ve been wearing it on repeat.
4. Velvet Jackets – From the Tularosa duster I wore to Disney (also in black here), to the Paige velvet blazer I wore for a night out, and to the blue Giorgio Armani velvet blazer I wore for an Armani event it’s become pretty clear that velvet has become one of my current staples. Velvet adds texture and elevation to a look, two reasons why I haven’t been able to get enough of my velvet pieces this season. Not to mention that you can snag some great and affordable options like this one from H&M.
5. Giorgio Armani Brow Pencil– I am constantly testing out new eyebrow pencils and recently came across one that I love and wanted to share with you guys. I rarely apply a full face of makeup, but I do always make sure that my eyebrows are filled in and on point. I have always felt that strong eyebrows are an essential part of a complete a look, making it important to own a great brow pencil. What I like the most about this specific pencil is that instead of using a spoolie, which usually attracts a lot of dust, the pencil uses a comb. This allows you to easily groom and shape your eyebrows. The pencil is also ultra thin allowing you to guide the pencil easily, an eyebrow lovers dream.

  1. I have been about burgundy and red too this season finally adding some color to my wardrobe. I’ve been searching for the perfect camel coat and love the one you have. Just thinking about taking the plunge and getting it since it is a classic and will be worn for many years. xoxo, Christine
