Antwerp & Mauritius with Tiffany & Co

Off again! I was just in Los Angeles for about 12 hours after the most amazing trip to Antwerp and Mauritius with Tiffany & Co to learn about their diamond journey and sustainable luxury, and now I’m on another plane to New York City for a few days. I already mentioned how much Belgium reminded me of a storybook, but I think it’s the most accurate way to describe it. It was the perfect escape from the heat of Morocco and LA that I needed–as much as I love my denim skirts, sweater weather is really nice sometimes! I made a post about my favorite sweaters hereGot to do the whole trip with my Jacopo! Chilling on the coolest leopard couch before going out, wearing FRAME leather pants (affordable version here) and Saint Laurent heels.Princess vibes in Antwerp, wearing a Self-Portrait jumpsuit and Tiffany necklaceLoving exploring the city! I need to go back when I have a little more time. It warmed up enough for me to wear a skirt, but I kept the look fall appropriate with knee-high IRO boots, a turtleneck, and my Tibi blazer (affordable here), and Tiffany earringsEven though the few days of sweater weather was nice, my favorite part of this trip was definitely in Mauritius. Give me a tropical vacation any day (please). Wearing a Reformation dress to the beach with Tiffany & Co jewelry and my new Gentle Monster x Song of Style sunglasses in black! In both Belgium and Mauritius, we got to get an inside look at the different stages of a Tiffany diamond’s journey, like how they’re selected, sorted, laser sawn, cut, polished, and checked for quality. I even got to polish my own diamond! Tiffany is super picky and specific about its diamonds (they actually reject 99.96% of the world’s gem-grade diamonds), so I’m pretty sure mine didn’t make the cut. I think my favorite part of their process is that Tiffany ethically sources rough diamonds directly from known mines, and only from those that are operated responsibly. They also hire local Tiffany artisans to craft each stone, contributing to the local community where they operate diamond workshops. All-in- all, I learned so much and was so pleasantly surprised by how much care Tiffany & Co. puts into their jewelry, and the positive impact of each diamond, which is definitely rare among luxury jewelers. I was actually so interested in what we were learning that I took like a million notes. A lot of diamond cutting and polishing factories have social and environmental issues, and Tiffany eliminates that risk by owning its own diamond workshops, training people in the craft, providing good working conditions, and paying a living wage.Got to explore town and have a beautiful boat day in a Sea NY top and denim skirt (similar here) that felt perfect for a day on the water. Blues on blues in my striped DVF swimsuit that couldn’t have matched the water any better.Doesn’t get fresher than this!
This is what relaxation looks like. Reading The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out The Window And Disappeared. Wearing the blue version of my Gentle Monster sunnies!Dressed up for dinner with my Italian on our last night. Thanks to Tiffany & Co for an amazing trip, teaching us about sustainable luxury, and sponsoring this post!

  1. Tôi là một người Việt Nam, tôi cảm thấy thời trang theo style Hàn Quốc sẽ đẹp hơn. Nhưng có thể đâu đó ngoài kia trên thế giới rộng lớn này sẽ yêu thích thời trang của bạn

  2. The best part of your Antwerp / Mauritius video was Jacopo explaining carats yet you rudely cut it out and made fun of it. One comment pointed out your arrogance but it’s not that – it’s your bloated self-importance in the guise of ‘look-at-me-im-kind-im-fun’ persona but really so contrived & just running like a headless chicken to stay ahead of the game. Don’t try so hard, honey. You were bearable when you were much simpler.

  3. looove the slides you’re wearing with the denim skirt and white top! where are they from??

  4. Great post.
