Monochrome burgundy vinyl pants and sweater

The monochrome trend has been going strong for a few years now, but I’m really not tired of it yet. I think it’s easy to look a little boring if you don’t mix it up with different textures and shades, but if you do it right, I think it looks so chic and cool. Plus, all of these pieces I’m wearing are existing pieces in my wardrobe but I’m giving them new life by styling them in a different way.  I went with a head to toe burgundy look while I was in New York City, wearing a pair of patent leather Self-Portrait pants ($38 similar here) and a Vince turtleneck (similar here and affordable here). I kept my accessories minimal with a pair of gold Tiffany & Co. Earrings ($50 similar here), velvet Jimmy Choo  heels (similar here) and a Chloe Bag.In the morning, I actually left the hotel with my Dior bucket bag because I slept in and needed to do my makeup in the car (hence a bigger bag that would fit my makeup bag) but later in the afternoon, I felt like going all out with the Chloe bagVince Red Turtleneck Sweater (similar here and affordable here)
