Silk Dress & Red Shoes

Day two was filled with so many great shows including Public School, Sies Marjan, DVF, Prabal Gurung and FentyxPuma. In this post I’m highlighting the outfit I wore for the DVF presentation. Yes, I’m wearing a slip dress again! You truly can never go wrong with a slip dress, definitely a staple piece for your closet. This slip in particular is special, not only because it’s DVF of course, but because it has delicate detailing and a subtle floral pattern. I really like the way they decided to color block the dress, I find it to be a flattering element in addition to the cut and fabric. I love how Jonathan Saunders mixes different colors and patterns throughout without making the dresses overbearing. This dress is not available yet but I found some pink floral maxi dress similar here.

I was back and forth between what to pair the dress with shoe wise, my Dior pumps similar here or my Gianvito Rossi Heels. One was more safe and the other was more risky, but I was reassured by the kind man at Juicolgy (which you can see on my latest Vlog) that the red would make me pop. I wanted to pop. So I decided to go with the red shoes which matched perfectly with my red  DVF Bag.

  1. You look fabulous, Aimee! I love the slip dress and those shoes paired with it, giving me all the 90s feels! It sounds like such a great time during NYFW, too! Thanks for sharing and I hope you’re having a great start to your weekend so far!

  2. This DVF dress is a lovely piece . I have started to embrace Jonathan Saunders, I resisted him at first being named as creative director of DVF . I was of the opinion that Diane should have chosen a woman to head DVF. Once I cleaned up the spilt milk , I now love the fresh direction Mr Saunders is taking this iconic label!
