How To Wear Burgundy For Fall

Throughout fashion week, I really embraced the monochrome trend. It wasn’t even planned, but a few days in I realized that pretty much all of my outfits were one color, and, like, why stop a good thing? This all burgundy look was inspired by my other burgundy look in my 9 Ways To Wear a White Tee Style by Number video. I paired my mom’s vintage Celine blazer (that I also wore here, and affordable version here), with a new Tibi skirt. Burgundy is such a big fall color, so I decided to fully embrace it with accessories too. I was recently gifted this new Chloe bag and I love the unique shape. I also love being able to fit a phone AND a lip balm in my bag at the same time. Mini bags are cute but sometimes you gotta size up. I also had a burgundy beret that I wanted to wear, but when I put it on I looked like a North Korean soldier and decided it wasn’t a great move (you can see that moment happen in my YouTube video here). To finish the look, I wore these Jimmy Choo boots (similar and more affordable here), which are my new fall favorite. They’re so comfortable because the heel isn’t very high.

How cool is Camila’s Tibi dress? I have the same one in blueLoving this nail art that I got before NYFW. If you zoom in, you’ll see some Matisse and Picasso inspired designs. Vintage Celine Blazer (that I also wore here, and affordable version here)

  1. We love fall colors and this deep, rich burgundy blazer you chose is perfect for fall weather! Paired with the over the knee boots and little black skirt with just a pinstripe touch of burgundy, this look is sharp, feminine and very stylish. The finishing touches (your Chloe handbag and artfully applied nails) bring your whole look together! Thank you for posting this for inspiration!

  3. HAWT!!! Haha. So cute. You know, I never really considered burgundy a worthwhile color until this season. I don’t know why! There is literally nothing I own in this color and I’m recognizing that I need to fix it immediately. It’s probably the perfect color for my dark hair and light complexion! Thanks for sharing, the outfit looks awesome on you! <3

  4. I love that burgundy blazer! Don’t you love it when you can rock a vintage piece that belonged to your mom?! It look so good paired with the skirt and those fab boots, too; great styling as always! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!
