Green Velvet Blazer & Yellow Slip Dress


For my first day of shows I changed three different times which is actually a quite reasonable amount for NYFW.  This look was my third look of the day and I like the contrast between yellow and green, a color combo I haven’t played around with much. Sometimes I don’t have enough time to plan out all of my looks out, like this one, but it’s always a happy moment when you put something great together on the fly. This look really came all together last minute.

Here I am wearing a Racil emerald green velvet blazer. Not only was the blazer super comfortable and cozy, but it also added some texture to my outfit which was a plus. I paired it with a Michelle Mason slip dress similar here. I feel like slip dresses are just so easy and figure flattering. I know some people may disagree, but I find slip dresses to be a garment that can be worn by any shape and size. I decided to match my green blazer and wear my green Tibi heels. Fun fact, I always pack an extra pair of sneakers just in case my feet start to hurt but these Tibi heels are just so comfortable that I never have to change in between shows.

  2. The Velvet trend coming for this fall is heating up and this
    great jacket helps . Yellow is not always the easiest color to wear therefore I seldom use it on clients. This pale yellow is a much more versatile hue . Happy NYFW!
