New York Outfit Song of Style

Gingham Wrap Dress and Metallic Sandals

People always ask me if I’m going to move to New York City because that’s where Jacopo lives (apparently they forget that I just bought a house in LA), and I always say no, but every time I go back I remember how much I love it. In the summer it’s usually very hot and humid (which I actually kind of like because the humidity is good for my skin), but when I was there this time the weather was so perfect. We spent most of the time in Greenwich and West Village which are my favorite parts of town. One thing that I do like more about New York than LA is that you can walk everywhere. I barely walk one block in LA. I was loving exploring in this DVF wrap dress (similar here) which is my ideal summer dress–a pretty bright color, gingham, and a versatile flattering shape. I love what Jonathan Saunders is doing for DVF. He’s took the idea of the iconic wrap dress and modernized it, which made the brand a bit younger. This print and color combo is so fun and screams “picnic,” so I carried on the theme with this Staud bag. I also wore my Loeffler Randall sandals (affordable version here), and Oliver Peoples sunnies.DVF Wrap Dress (similar here)

  2. DVF is a brand I’ve always admired as they make such beautiful dresses like this one. I love the colour and the cut of the dress, so beautiful. You look great Aimee! xx
