Dior Haute Couture

Here is my look for the Dior Couture show! The show was outside and the weather was perfect and I felt so comfortable and pretty in this Dior dress (similar here). The collection itself was amazing too–I love that couture is in the process of moving beyond just beautiful gowns and becoming something that is actually a bit more wearable. I haven’t had very many opportunities to wear couture pieces, but the times I did, I felt not only beautiful but also so empowered. I’m really excited that these more wearable pieces are going to bring that sense of empowerment to more women around the world and I think Maria Grazia Chiuri is doing an incredible job at it!
After the show, I went and picked up these beautiful flowers for my friend Edouard’s mom’s birthday. Oh, and if you’ve been watching my insta-stories, you might have seen my eye makeup disaster. I decided to try a new eyeshadow look literally 30 minutes before I was supposed to leave… Don’t ever do that! I had to pack my makeup bag in the car and somehow managed to salvage the pink eye makeup look.  Dior Dress (similar here)

  1. This Dior look was my fave of your Paris Haute Couture style diary. Simple and effective.

Cute!! Does your friend from the last picture also have a fashion blog? I love the ensemble she’s wearing

  3. You look so beautiful. I totally agree with the fact that couture is becoming more wearable which is nie because it’s more relatable yet the work and artistry that goes into the collections is as beautiful as ever. The Dior show is always a favourite of mine and this season was no different!

I love the piece you chose – you look STUNNING and you did manage to salvage your pink eyeshadow! Well done!
