New Office Tour with MyDomaine

The office is finally complete! I know I showed you guys an “office tour” a few weeks ago, but that was really just a sneak peak. We actually converted a whole house (with a full kitchen of course) into the Song of Style office and you can see the full tour over at MyDomaine! I’m so obsessed with how everything turned out and I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of it!Here’s one of the spaces you haven’t seen yet! While we usually work together at the big table, I also have my own office I can go to when I need to take a phone call or if I need a little more quiet to concentrate. You know I love shagreen, so you can imagine how excited I was when I found this beautiful shagreen writing desk on Joss & Main. I love the different textures of the desk, the crocodile Eames chair, and the vintage rug that I found. On the other side, across from my desk, I have a sitting area for when I have meetings or if anybody wants to come chat. I found this cute love seat from Joss & Main and decorated it with some handmade indigo pillows from Backup Design. She also made me some dog beds in the same fabric! I added a shiny gold West Elm accent table, a bunch of plants, and voila! Pro-tip: be really aware when you’re buying plants that you’re not getting ripped off. Someone tried to sell me a cactus like that for almost $300, but I went downtown to a wholesale place and got it for less than $100.One of my favorite rooms in the office is the sitting room where we hold meetings and interviews, and watch YouTube videos on the big TV.
1. Joss & Main Rug
2. Joss & Main Chesterfield Sofa – I knew I wanted something tufted, but not too romantic, so I picked this grey denim upholstered sofa.
3. Joss & Main Coffee Table – You already know I’m obsessed with gold, and I couldn’t pass up the cool stone detail of this coffee table.
4. Joss & Main Blue Velvet Arm Chairs – If you ever saw my apartment tour video before I moved into my new house, you know that I have a thing with blue velvet. I wanted a touch of it in the office as well, so I went with two of these beautiful armchairs to add a pop of color to the room.
You’ve seen these LuxDeco Spectre chairs in the last office post and in a few of my Instagrams, but that’s just because I’m obsessed with them.Head over to MyDomaine to see the rest of the office and let me know what you think!

  5. I love this top, Aimee! It looks so good paired with those jeans and mules, too. I can’t wait until I’m able to wear these kinds of tops again after having my baby because they’re not the most flattering with a baby bump, lol! Thanks for the inspo and I hope you have a great day!

  9. I have alway wanted to go to Iceland !! It’s such an amazing place, but you already know. Being from Norway I’m used to the beautiful scenery, but Iceland seems to take that to the next level.
I would love to try that lava pool too. I need to make some notes, so when I finally get to go to Iceland I can visit all these locations. http://www.lkbbennett.co.uk

  10. Absolutely love all your outfits and the scenery even more! Wearing light blue was such a good choice against the black rock backdrop. Love your posts, you can tell there’s always a lot of effort behind everything you do! Much love xx http://www.designerhandbagshows.com/

  11. I loved Iceland so much – apart from all the stuff you mentioned, I definitely miss their rye bread! If anyone ever visits Iceland, do not miss out on eating their local rye bread that’s baked in the ground. Best bread I ever tasted x http://www.louisevuittonline.com/

Your office space is so beautiful. You’ve probably heard this a million times, but please give us a tour of your home once it’s done!

  18. Amazing work place! I really loved the decoration, everything’s just too creative. I used to work at a very simple and boring place and after work I was like depressed or something, then I was transfered to a different place and this new place had a great decoration, after long days of work I was always happy, is incredible how the decoration of a place can change your mood. For what I see, all your employees are going to be happy and relaxed at the end of the day! Congrats :)
