Every season of fashion week there are different shows that blow my mind for different reasons. Chanel is always one of those shows, whether it’s for the collection, or the venue. They always take it to the next level, and every time I’m left wondering “how are they going to out do this next time?” And they always do! From a grocery store, to an airport, the way they design the set is always next level. This time, they literally took us to space with a rocket that blasted off at the end of the show. Such a happy accident that I matched the theme with my new constellation embroidered hat from Ruslan Baginskiy (similar here).
I felt so Parisienne in this outfit! I’m completely in love with this matching mini skirt and jacket combo. The bright blue is a statement, but doesn’t feel too out there because of the short cut of each item. See, it’s all about balance! You can pull off wild prints, colors, and cuts as long as you’re aware of the outfit proportions and styling. Similar blue leather jacket here and a blue leather skirt here!
You know what they say – “go big or go home” – so I kept the colorful theme by layering my bright blue suit combo with a red turtleneck (similar here). Mixing primary colors into the same look is eye catching, while still being familiar. To break up the bold shades of my outfit I styled the look with the cutest constellation hat (similar here), some pom pom earrings (similar here), and a patchwork Chloe bag.
I’d like to think that this adorable car is part of my outfit too.
