Outfit Song of Style

Ripped Jeans and a Silk Cami

I know that “something old, new, borrowed, and blue” is generally for your wedding…I’m not getting married anytime soon, but my outfit still fit the bill. I’ve had this Vince cami for a while now, but I really love wearing it! I got it in the summer, but found out that it’s actually a great piece for any season. You know ripped jeans are my favorite, and this pair of Lovers & Friends distressed denim is my “something blue.” They’ve actually been on repeat for a little while too. I love the distressing detail at the ankle. And this cardigan(similar cardigan here, and similar sweater here) is my “something borrowed” — I raided my mom’s closet and tried to leave with it but she caught me and made me trade my purse for it! I ended up leaving her house with all the contents of my purse in a shopping bag. I finished the look with my new Mansur Gavriel purse, and my favorite Celine boots (super affordable version on sale here for $30!!).

  3. I love this look and especially the high-waisted jeans! Perhaps you could do a post on how to wear them without looking like a muffin top ? :)

  4. I bought the top shop shoes. My grandmother passed this week whom I loved with my all. Shoes were delivered a few days after. They are perfect and put a slight smile on my face. Thank you for sharing the sale

  5. This look is really beautiful. And I had to laugh when reading that you’ve tried to leave your mom’s house with the cardigan. Sometimes I try this with my mom, too. Sometimes with success, sometimes not….

  6. This is such a simple outfit yet the colours all work together so beautifully which is what really makes it amazing! I love your little something new, something borrowed and something blue – the something borrowed is deffs so cute! I love that you traded with your mum and it goes perfectly with your bag!

  7. i love how easy breezy this outfit is- also, I love following along on your Youtube videos- can’t wait to see the rest of your bathroom! (LOVE the matte black fixtures so far!!)

  8. I love how you paired the silk cami and jeans with the sweater to give it both a more colorful and casual look. Then the bag and the heeled booties really compliment the whole look! So lovely
