2016 was such a busy year with amazing travels, publishing Capture Your Style, and raising money for Charity: Water. Luckily I got to spend the last few weeks at home before leaving LA again in January. Here are some of my favorite outfits from the end of 2016 (mostly while I was in LA)! Have you guys checked out Abercrombie recently? I was amazed when I saw how much they rebranded — their stuff is so cool now! You know much I love distressed denim, and this pair of Abercrombie distressed white skinny jeans is no exception. I paired them with an Abercrombie button-up and a super fuzzy teddy coat (similar here and here), and finished the look with some of my wardrobe favorites: Gucci slip-ons and Ahlem sunglasses.
In December I got to attend Art Basel, and I had to make sure to pack my favorite pair of PJ’s! I love sleeping in cute matched sets, so I even made a shopping guide, which you can find here. Here I’m wearing Thakoon PJ’s (super similar here, affordable here) and a Thakoon eye mask (similar here, and another cute design here!).
One of the highlights of my 2016 was buying my first house. It’s been such a crazy journey, filled with lots of life lessons, but it’s finally coming together and I’m so excited to move in! Things can get a little dusty and messy over there so I usually visit the site wearing jeans, like these frayed hem jeans (similar here and here), and boots. I especially love these snakeskin ones from Acne Studios (in black and white here, and affordable here).
Sometimes I try to wear dust-friendly outfits to the job site, but other times…I just can’t help but wear my favorite mules! I paired some simple Citizens of Humanity jeans (similar here) with suede mules from The Row (here, in black).
I like to be comfy when I travel so I went with some distressed J Brand jeans, Nike’s, and a simple tee, then added a little artsy element with this sick Basquiat-inspired Alice & Olivia leather jacket (which goes perfectly with this Prada bag I’ve been obsessed with lately).
When I’m not traveling all over the place it’s so nice to just explore LA. I love this city (especially all of its delicious avocado toast), and I’m lucky to call it home. I went Downtown the day after Christmas, wearing my mom’s cardigan (similar here and here), some destroyed hem jeans (similar here), and these awesome gold Jimmy Choo shoes (in metallic pink here, and affordable here). Of course, I also wore my favorite Celine bag (similar and affordable here and here) and Ahlem sunglasses.
Another amazing thing I got to do at the end of 2016 was go on a hot air balloon ride! Jacopo surprised me one morning and we went on the most beautiful balloon ride during sunrise. For the trip I wore The Great jeans, a Chloe bag (similar here), a Tommy Hilfiger denim jacket (similar here), and The Row suede mules (also in black).
Can you guys tells how much I love Charcoal? For an easy day running errands and checking out the new house I wore a J Crew pink turtleneck (similar here and here), Mother Denim jeans, The Row suede mules (also in black), and a Chloe Bag.
I wanted to finish 2016 with a bang, and this Cinq a Sept dress (similar here, here, and here) seemed like the perfect way to do that. The beautiful maroon floral pattern in the dress matched perfectly with my new Ash platform sandals (similar here and here).
And this photo pretty much sums up my 2016, which was so amazing and full of love. I’m so happy I got to share this year with amore mio. I stepped into 2017 relaxed and happy, wearing a Zara camel coat (similar here and here), a camel sweater (similar here, here and here), Abercrombie distressed jeans (similar here and here), my favorite Prada mules (here in blue, and similar here), and a Chloe bag (similar here and here).
