In Cannes during the Film Festival, everyone wears beautiful dresses round the clock. Really… sometimes you can’t tell if people are just going to breakfast or to a red carpet event. Because I knew I would be wearing a lot of dresses, I packed a few that could easily transition from day to night. On my last day there, I wore this one from Keepsake. You know I love lace dresses, and I thought this one would look super pretty against the Cannes backdrop but would still be comfortable enough to walk around in all day. I wore the same Schutz sandals I wore in Mexico since I knew I could walk around in them without my feet hurting while I was desperately looking for ice cream. For two nights in a row before this, I went to big parties and wore full makeup. I really wanted to give my skin a break so I kept it simple with sunscreen, bronzer, and my new favorite Laura Mercier Illuminator in Addiction as a highlighter. I love this color because it has an interesting champagne/gold hue that helps me look fresh and awake.
