A Weekend In San Francisco

Aimee Song from Song of Style in San Francisco.Went to my old stomping grounds, San Francisco last weekend to visit Sephora to meet my SF readers and to promote my new nail polish collection with Formula X! The weather was pretty typical for San Francisco, gloomy and chilly, so I decided to layer up in my camel coat (similar here and here), Pierre Balmain Blazer, and a classic black tee that I borrowed from my assistant Nicholas. I lived in San Francisco for 4 years when I went to college so it was nice to be back at a place I used to call home.Aimee Song from Song of Style in San Francisco.Aimee Song from Song of Style in San Francisco.Aimee Song from Song of Style in San Francisco.

These Sigerson Morrison lace up heels (super similar here and here) have been with me since my San Francisco days. 2. Gorgeous photo diary! I went to SF last month and it makes me incredibly happy that I stood in some of the same places and took pictures as you! What an honor :D
Hope you enjoyed this beautiful city!

  3. In love with both outfits. Bring back the silk top with neck tie. It’s also really great that you posted a link to one of your post from almost 5 years. Seeing the evolution of your style is unbelievably inspirational. And the lace up heels….timeless :)

  4. Loving the camel coat so much <3 It's one of my favorite pieces for the winter! And that silky blue shirt is just so gorgeous! Loving how structured all of these looks are! Perfect for a cityscape like San Francisco!

  8. Your pictures inspire me every day, Aimee!
It became kind of a ritual for me to check your Instagram after waking up, because there’s only good vibes and it motivates me to get my ass up :-)
    Have a great day!

  9. Love this post. You look so amazing in those Lovers and Friends black jeans. Those are my 2nd favorite jeans on you. My favorite are the ripped cropped skinny jeans from J Brand that you were wearing in 2014. Do you still have them? You should wear them again.

  10. Hope you enjoyed your time in SF! I wish I would have known you’d be at Sephora, I would have stopped by.

  11. Congrats on the collab with Formula X, beautiful! It must have been nice to take a stroll down memory lane and seeing how far you’ve come as well! I simply adore both looks, especially the navy blouse in the second outfit, it has such a luxe feel! Great styling, as always, beautiful, and thanks so much for the inspiration!

  12. Being a Londoner, I don’t really know much about San Francisco (we hear a lot more about LA and New York) so it’s really fun to read about and see a snippet of somewhere different. It’s 100% on my ‘to visit’ list, it seems very cool and laid back but with a city feel still and I can handle a bit of gloom – I live in London! I’m planning on doing more ‘exploring London’ style posts this spring and summer, so funny how you forget to appreciate the beauty of the places you know best. Thanks for the inspo! Jade x
