aimee_song_of_style_self_portrait_macrame_lace_midi_dressWhen it comes to makeup, I’m more of a neutral and simple person, but when I saw Charlotte Casiraghi’s beauty campaign for Gucci Beauty with her teal smokey eye, I really wanted to recreate the look for the holidays. It was all about the dramatic eyes and perfect full brows so I kept the rest of the makeup simple using just the Lustrous Glow Foundation on my skin and Golden Glow Bronzer in Oriental Sienna.aimee_song_of_style_gucci_infinite_eye_collection_make_up_self_portrait_macrame_dressAimee_SongofStyle_GucciCosmeticsaimee_song_of_style_gucci_magnetic_color_eyeshawdow_quadaimee_song_gucci_makeup_self_portrait_dress
In the Gucci Beauty campaign, her eyes are definitely more dramatic with purple hues on the bottom eyelids and gold tones on her inner corners, but I felt like the teal eyeshadow was quite dramatic enough on me so I used the Gucci Magnetic Color Shadow Mono in Iconic Ottanio over my eyelids. Instead of my usual black eyeliner, I used the Gucci Infinite Precision Liner in Iconic Ottanio, and then the Infinite Length Mascara in Iconic Black. I usually prefer brow shadow over brow pencils but I’m happy to have found a brow pencil I really like. Because let’s be honest, if my eyebrows are not on point, then my whole face is not on point. I used the Gucci Precise Sculpting Brow Pencil by drawing light strokes and filled in my brows.

For my lips, I first outlined with the Sleek Contouring Lip Pencil in Soft Cameo, then wore the Vibrant Demi Glaze Lip Lacquer in Unapologetic Pink.aimee_song_of_style_self_portrait_long_dressaimee_song_of_style_Self_portrait_macrame_lace_dress_raye_sandals

Hi Aimee! You write beautiful posts. Every time I read the blogs of you and comparatively a newcomer http://www.twinkleintrendz.com , I feel so delighted to spot your blogs.
Also if it doesn’t sound too archaic, I feel proud of my Asian origin after seeing you two.

  9. I also love more simple and natural makeup look but it’s good to sometimes play around with your makeup and step out from your comfort zone, right? You look gorgeous, that makeup look looks amazing on you. And that dress is so beautiful, love the colour <3
