Back in June, after my trip to Florence, I decided that I’d finally visit Cinque Terre which is right by the Italian Riviera coastline that consist of 5 towns (hence the name Cinque which means five.)
I actually first discovered Cinque Terre through Instagram awhile back and what attracted me to come here was the vibrant colors and the old rugged buildings that seem to be stacked up against one another. Plus, every person I talked to who has visited Cinque Terre before raved about the delicious pesto, and being a big foodies, of course I had to try for myself!
The easiest way to visit all five towns would be taking the train and if you’re up for it, you can also walk to each town. There are many places to stay at in each town right by the sea but I stayed in Monterosso (it’s the first town from the north) on a hill overlooking the sea at a place called Eremo della Maddalena.
Most of the clothes I brought to Cinque Terre were easy dresses like this one from For Love and Lemons. I wore my Joie La Plage Sable two band sandals (thong version here) almost every day while I was here to walk around since the neutral two tone makes them easy to wear with almost anything.
