I don’t own many jumpsuits merely because not many of them are my style but this Tibi jumpsuit was too good to pass up on. When I first saw it, I had doubts because it’s strapless and cropped and felt like it would be hard to pull off but I love how flattering it is and how modern and versatile it is as well. I mean, I pretty much love everything Amy from Tibi does. I love their take on turning a familiar silhouette and giving it a modern spin like that one time when I wore everyone’s all time favorite bubblegum pink midi skirt and a matching top! This jumpsuit is definitely no exception. I love the pleating on it, the cropped length and wide legs which I thought would be super hard to pull off but was surprisingly very flattering even though I’m not super tall. If I were in L.A., I would’ve wore the jumpsuit with high heels, preferably my usual Isabel Marant chain heels or a simple Tibi strappy sandals but because I was doing a lot of walking, I wore the jumpsuit with Tibi Camilo Sandals. I hate using this word, but Tibi’s shoes are on fleek! I am seriously in love with every single pair of Tibi shoes from these lace up espadrille sandals (they also come in white) that I’m wearing to their platform sandals and the gladiator sandals that I’ve worn on the blog here and here.
It is no joke that Chicago is a windy city. The weather was actually very nice when I was there, but it was breezy so I packed my classic croc leather jacket from Laer Brand.
