Sorry for the delay in posting! Been traveling so I’m finally getting around to post this outfit from New York. I only brought 2 pairs of jeans and it was too cold to just wear my ripped jeans so I wore tights underneath them. The jeans are from the collaboration between Mother Denim and Candice Swanepoel and this pair is my favorite from the collection.

aimee_song_stripe_coat_ripped_jeansThis blue faux fur collar is from the DIY that Jennia and I did. It does keep me warm and I love it as an accent! Also wearing my Maison Michele hat that I was finally able to score. It sells out so fast and the moment I saw it on Net-a-porter‘s website, I snatched it asap! I love the neutral grey color on this hat because I know it’ll go with so many of my outfits!

  2. I love this look. I always love your pairings because I never would have thought to put those pieces together, but every time you kill it! I am so trying your DIY faux fur collar asap! It’s still cold in the bay and this would be perfect. I never found one that I felt was worth the money, but this just solved the hunt :]

  3. Cool outfit! I’d love to see that coat in another, less layered look, hope that the LA weather gives you a change for that. And that last picture is so so cute :)

  4. This is such a cute look for winter! I’m a fan of that faux fur collar you did, and together with the coat, hat and furry bag you look like a grown up Aimee! I love to see how you’ve transitioned into the cute teenager to a sophisticated woman, still you, but more mature, and you look gorgeous!!

    Love,

The stripe design of the coat adds a touch of fun to this classic piece, awesome! Also love how the fuzzy fur accessories introduce a cozy texture to the whole ensemble, beautiful style!

  8. The fur coat is amazing, the style is classic and you give it a new imagen with the fur neck, it’s so cool. Adore these ripped jeans, it looks so rock with those Isabel marant booties, and the contrast with the elegant is very interesting. The hat detail is so your style and the fur clutch is adorable. Just perfect and super chic, like always

  10. Power clashing! Love it how you effortlessly brought together textures, patterns, colors.

In one of my last posts I show how I mix patterns using an outfit with an oversized plaid scarf and a houdstooth coat as an example. I kept it simple: three patterns and three hues. Doing power clashing is tricky.
