I have a girl crush on Marissa Webb. When I came across her awhile back I was super intrigued by the way she layered and how she wore color in an unexpected way. Well, when I heard the news that she was going to be the new creative director for Banana Republic, I knew it was going to be really good. I’ve been a big fan of Banana Republic since I started blogging in my San Francisco days, and the collection they showed together during New York Fashion Week was so good on so many levels and if I could pin it in real life, I would’ve pinned all the looks to my Pinterest! Aside from the incredibly good looking models, I loved all the colors they showed, and the whole presentation was full of outfit inspiration with all the layering and mix and match of prints and colors.aimee_song_marissa_webb_utility_jacket_leather_fringe_skirtaimee_song_marissa_webb_utility_jacket_leather_fringe_skirt_2aimee_song_banana_republic_presentation_nyfw

  4. I like Banana RepIublic but I never LOVED it until I saw Marissa Webbs collection. I always felt like Banana Republic catered to an older age group and as someone in my early 20’s I didn’t feel right in their clothes. This collection made me obsessed!

  5. 언니 you’re stunning as always! You’ve been my motivation for so long! Always rooting for you love from 대한민국 xx

  6. Quite impressed with BR bringing in Jcrew’s previous design lead into their brand. It’s a huge risk but the turn out is great. I love the military inspired looks with fringe and layering. x

  8. this look is just so unique, how you played with the shapes of the huge jacket and the the straight skirts, the long fringes and the fact that you can’t really tell exactly where the boots end. everything here is perfect, and it looks like you had the best time!

  9. I totally agree with you. Marissa Webb is literally a layering genius and has made banana republic so cool and fun. I find myself loving everything now. love your look by the way as well. so cute.
