Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! With Thanksgiving comes Black Friday then Cyber Monday. Possibly one of my favorite sales ever but I’m not going to lie, I get a little overwhelmed by all the sales happening. Thankfully with all the amazing online sales, I no longer stand in long lines at a store. In high school my sister and I used to have our Black Friday strategy down. We’ll ask our dad to drop us off at the mall since finding parking was a pain, and whichever store we’d go to, we’ll start on opposite ends. aimee_song_kimono_over_the_knee_boots_2

I love wearing kimonos and even though kimonos make you think of easy summer outfits, the thick material and embroidery on this French Connection kimono is fall appropriate especially in L.A.aimee_song_kimono_over_the_knee_bootsaimee_song_kimonoaimee_song_kimono_over_the_knee_boots_3

This look is great! You combined two great trends in a chic way and I love the added detail the Nasty Gal bra gives the outfit

  2. Gorgeous kimono! Are you saying the £600 boots are affordable though? They are cheaper but I wouldn’t call it affordable.

  3. Gorgeous outfit! I’m in love with the kimono and the Jimmy Choo boots.

  4. Wow just wow. The kimono is more than amazing, it’s the most beautiful piece of clothes In the world. The look is perfect, these jeans looks so cool with the kimono and OMG these súper high boots are so fancy and sexy, adore them. This outfit is súper chic

  5. Some of my readers know that my grandmother brought me a beautiful kimono during her travels to Japan. I have never thought of a way to make it modern and conform to the edgier type of styling I prefer. You just inspired me completely with this look. The kimono is coming out of mothballs for the holiday.

  6. I’m also a bit overwhelmed by all of the sales happening at once. I just feel like I shop often enough that it’s not worth fighting the crowds at this time of year. Thank goodness for online shopping!

  7. Kimonos are one of my favorite fashion pieces as of late. It’s been so cold on the east coast recently that I didn’t think that I could wear them again until spring, but thank goodness for the power of layering!! You can still look cute and stay warm. Love this outfit!

  8. I love the embroidery on that kimono jacket. It really is the type of jacket that is appropriate for L.A.’s more mild winter, especially with the weird weather changes throughout the day. Those over-the-knee boots are absolutely gorgeous as well.

  9. I’m just realising that you’ve got a septum ring? It suits you really well.
Also, this outfit is great, love the kimono coat and the boots.

  10. This kimono is gorgeous. I went to buy it but the promo code isn’t accepted?

  11. Ah! Lovely! I’ve been searching for that Kimono for awhile. Saw it on Poppy Delevigne in an airport candid awhile back. Went nuts for it!
Question: How warm was it? I’m definitely not blessed to live in a place that’s perma-warm!
