Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I’ve been asked by so many people on where to visit, what to do, where to eat, when in Ibiza so I thought I’d take you guys through where I was at and what the whole experience was like!
Where Did We Stay? We stayed at this hotel called Me Ibiza right next to Nikki Beach. Location wise, it was about a 30 minute cab ride to all the main clubs and restaurants so if you’re looking for a more happening place, this hotel might not be for you. However, it was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at in terms of decor (very minimalistic yet still has that beachy vibe so it’s still welcoming) and staff service.
The hotel has two pools. This one above is taken from the rooftop pool where the view is stunning. My bikini is from Lisa Marie Fernandez (similar here.)
Bikini from Agent Provocateur. Make’s your girls look really flattering.
Selfie time in front of our hotel room mirror right before we headed out for a late dinner. People in Spain eat super late compare to Americans. Every night we ate around 10pm or later. Love the all white decor in our hotel room. I’m wearing a Topshop Notched Bralette, Bec & Bridge Snakeprint Wrap Skirt, and Saint Laurent Chain Bag.
No matter how late we stayed up the night before (well we were awake till sunrise most times) we never missed one breakfast here! I’m such a huge breakfast person especially when I’m traveling. I love eating fruits for breakfast such as kiwi, grapefruit, and banana and of course, can’t skip a lil’ bit of carbs and pain au chocolat! Nom!
Chillin’ by the hotel lobby wearing an Athena Procopiou Kimono (a favorite on mine) Marysia Swim Bikini Top and Havaianas.
Since Nikki Beach (another hotel) was right next to ours, we hung out there one day too and had some tasty fish tacos and spring rolls. Nom nom nom.
Which Beach Did We Go To?
The first beach we went to was called Playa Cala Nova which was about a 10 minute ride from the hotel. The beach had a very relaxed vibe and even had a nude section (I don’t know if that area was actually a nude beach or if people were just completely naked.) Whenever I think of nude beaches, I think of old men with their junks hanging low desperately looking for women (thanks to the movie Eurotrip) but the naked people here were not bad to look at. ;)
I mean… I felt overdressed at this beach so I went a bit scandalous, unbuttoning my shirt. My lil’ perverted sister was actually pretending to shoot me because the three men in the water behind me were actually quite hot and were all completely naked. Yep, no bottoms. Guess how many photos Dani took? Tons.I personally loved Playa Cala Bassa. It was about a 40 minute ride from the hotel with restaurants right along the beach. This beach had locals and also a lot of Italian tourists. We kept getting hit on by a group of Italian men who were very very persistent!
Found myself some fresh vegetable and fruit juice! Boy, I missed drinking green juice. I’m wearing a Marysia Swim scallop bikini and J. Crew printed shorts.Wearing a Seafolly Bikini with matching high waisted bottoms. Necklace is from One Jewelry.
Where Did You Go?
Formentera was just a boat ride away. You can also take a public ferry, which we did when we went back the second time. Formentera was definitely my favorite. It was really beautiful, quaint, and very relaxing. We rented bikes (initially we planned on riding scooters but turns out none of us know how to drive one) and biked to the beach.
My adorable sister and one of our closest friends, Ays looking all sorts of adorable biking. Tip toeing because I didn’t know how to adjust my seat. I know how to, but none of us were strong enough to turn the knob. Anyways, wearing an Alexander Wang top, Lovers + Friends Denim Shorts, and Carritz Sandals. Oh, I got the panama hat from a shop by the ferry.
If you get yourself to Formentera I highly recommend Beso Beach. The vibe is so chill with sand inside so you really feel like you’re on vacation. Dani’s favorite part? The workers here. They all look like male models. Guess how many numbers Dani got? I highly recommend single girls to come here to drool over the food and men.
Wearing booty shorts from Topshop and Mikoh Bikini.
Have you guys been to Ibiza as well? Any recommendations that you guys can share? xo
