Journey of A Dress in Morocco

When traveling, one of the easiest things to wear is a dress, hence I packed one of the most iconic dresses of our time, the wrap dress from DVF. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot this chain link wrap dress on a rooftop in Essaouira which was the perfect backdrop with its all white buildings.

I also filmed my journey in Morocco, from exploring the city of Essaouira to shopping in the medina in Marrakech. This whole experience from visiting Morocco again and filming DVF’s Journey of A Dress in Morocco feels very special to me since my best friend Jennia filmed it for me (edited by my Wesley Mason) and to think how far I’ve come. I remember my first wrap dress moment back in San Francisco and now, myself and my blog have grown where I’m able to work with such an iconic brand that holds such a special place in my heart. I really hope you enjoy this video and thank you for joining me on this exciting journey of blogging and traveling.
There is something so sophisticated yet sexy about this dress. The way it wraps around your body, the subtle slit when you walk or when the wind blows… It really makes you feel feminine and quite powerful. song_of_style_dvf_wrap_dress_2song_of_style_dvf_wrap_dress_3

  6. It’s so cool to see how you wore DVF then and now. I like both stylings but it’s clear how far you’ve come since then, how your style has evolved, how your blog has evolved! So exciting. Morocco looks like it was lovely :)

  7. Amazing video! I love how you are showing the magical atmosphere of Morocco as a backdrop. Personally, I am not a fan of a wrap dress (I feel it is wrong for my frame. Besides I prefer slightly more sporty and funky shapes), but it looks so good on you that I might reconsider. x

  8. This is an amazing piece, I love a classic wrap dress and this print is gorgeous.

    Loving the style.
