Checkered, Stripes, and Denim

song_of_style_checkeredI love the versatility of denim so when River Island asked me to style one of their new styles of denim, I chose the Eva girlfriend jeans, and spruced it up a bit for work!song_of_style_checkered_boyfriend_jeanssong_of_style_checkered_details
I styled my distressed jeans with a light blue checkered jacket also from River Island. I love the soft material on it, and the cropped checkered pattern jacket adds a ladylike element to the whole ensemble.

  4. You’ve Inspired me immensely! I’ve always had the hardest time on how to wear the trend, denim on denim. You have made such an effortless look with a touch of classic elegance with the pop of red with the Chanel. Gorgeous!

  5. The jacket and shirt are a great match for each other and compliment the jeans wonderfully. Since my favorite choice of shoes to wear underneath boyfriend jeans are sandals all I have to say is, great styling! : )

  6. The red handbag looks great against your chambray blue clothes. You really made distressed jeans look totally classy with the pieces selected. Great outfit.

That structured clutch goes perfect with your outfit. I agree with Kate Dunphy – a camel coat is a must have. The footless tights are just too cute.
